SMS Transactional Notifications

Give your customers the opportunity to receive SMS Notifications about their orders. Once enabled, customers can sign up to be notified via SMS for all order acknowledgement and delivery statuses.

Will customers have to opt-in to receive these notifications?

Yes, they will be presented with messaging just above the ‘Make This Purchase’ button in the last step of checkout.

Can our customers opt-out of these notifications?

Absolutely! Similar to most SMS opt-out messaging from other companies, your customers can simply type ‘STOP’.

Do we have to install any code on our website to enable this feature?

No, you do not. You just have to reach out to your Retail Solutions Account Manager and/or Direct Commerce Platform Client Success Manager to let us know that you’d like to enable this feature for your checkout and your customers.

Do DCP Clients have to adjust the Terms of Service on their sites?

Yes, in order to be compliant. Our documentation guide describes this feature in more depth where you will have to present some additional compliance messaging within your Terms of Service page.
